hahahahaha! ROCKS! ((:

went to expo for some fair thing and i got a new cam! heehee. my sis got a laptop too! so we are HAPPY PEOPLE! hahaha.

well, before i went, did some 'homework'. looked up the different brands of cam. had to find one which is sleek and nice looking but yet have the functions. asked around and they said lumix and canon is good for photo taking while sony is good for video.

so i looked up the different cams for lumix and canon but the designs for canon are kinda big and bulky. and the only nice cam now which isn't big is lumix. the one nickoh and mayi have and they said its not bad.

so went to the fair and take a look around. oh gosh. there were so many people. after we came out of the train station, we just went up the escalator without looking for signboards etc. hahaha! so we ended up at the clothes section and bought my sister a pair of shoes. -.-" HHAHAHAHAHA quite dumb right?

then we realised that we were at the wrong section and so we u-turned and walked towards the it stuff. heehee. got in there and it was so crowded and messy and complicated. kept getting lost. HAHAHA. especially when i'm not good at recognising roads. so then went to collect brochures and more brochures before going outside for fresh air and some light refreshments.

found a rather clean table thankfully. so i bought drinks for my mom and myself while my sister went to get herself food to eat. so then after that, went to get onion rings from bk. it was just a booth thingy and all the tables were in the sun. hahaha. i thought that was kinda dumb but oh wells. it'll be too crowded to feel any air con anyways.

the queue was kind of bursting the whole booth. but luckily i managed to squeeze into the last lane where there were fewer people. so took like about half hour to get my onion rings and a few free fries cuz they conveniently mixed both of them up. HAHA. but they just set up i think, and i got my food so no complains. hahaha.

finally after deciding on whether to get the best laptop for speed, or the lightest or the prettiest, we went in again. into the enclosed area, where i was so short that i had to constantly hold my head up to breathe cuz everyone else stole away my oxygen. no lah. just kidding.

got her laptop first then went to buy my cam! my mom and sister insisted that sony was good, and all the good stuff about sony. i was just about to give in to her to save the future 'naggings' but he called to advice me once again to not get sony. hahaha! THANKS! ((:

so my mom kind of went on with her oh-sony-is-good stuff. but since she getting me the cam, she asked for my opinion so i just said, if you ask me, i'll want a lumix. and sony was crowded with loads of people. no choice so she went over to lumix first.

i din have to do much cuz the guy at the counter just helped me convince my mom to get me lumix. hehehe. and im still lousy at deciding things. pondered over whether to get the silver one or the pink one. but i remembered either nickoh or mayi had the silver one so i picked the pink one, just in case they got mixed up. HAHAHA.

so got 2 years extra warranty, a mini tripod stand, an extra 2gb memory stick and a screen protector. but thankfully, my mom asked the guy to put on the screen protector, otherwise i'd have brought home a BLACK camera. luckily i checked! hahaha. phews.

then went on to get cartridge, webcams and ear piece for my other sister.

ahh. a tiring but nice day.

charged it over 8 hours to my horror, cuz i couldn't wake up at 5.05 to switch off the power. oppps. but the guy said charge it for at least 8 hours so more than that it should be okay right?

tested out my cam today!

yay! hopefully i'm gonna have more pictures to upload onto my blog! so it won't be so BORING. hahaha. yupyup. looking forward to a fun time with everyone and MY CAM! ((:
