so i got diagnosed with bowel infection. puked, diarrhoea, high fever, tummy ache, headache. got myself 5 different pills, popping 6 pills every intake. :s its horrible, i tell you. grounded at home to recover for 2 days. missed lessons for 2 + 1 days. 2 days due to mc, 1 day due to competition on friday in the morning. all the best to me for blocks.

anyway, i feel quite loved. hahaha! 8 of my friends msged me out of concern! samm, ky, ttj, cx, tcc, yj, joan and wl! THANKS to all of you! really made my day! let's hope i have a speedy recovery! and hopefully i can make it down for training later! at least i'm not feeling as weak as compared to yesterday.

can't do anything yesterday except sleeping. mainly cuz i didn't have a good rest on monday night, so felt rather tired. so just ate and slept yesterday. such a pig! ahahha. so shall attempt to do some work before going down for training later.


and i saw the black moth again.
is it to wish me luck for the totally unprepared competition or
to wish me a speedy recovery?
or, to alert me of some bad incident that is to occur? (i puked again cuz i accidentally ate something with milk this morning.)
or to give me strength and tell me i'm not alone suffering cuz my greatgrandparents are watching over me as i'm ill.

should it be the second incidence, i shall hope that there'll be a way of countering the bad incident to happen. should it be the first or the third, i feel really comforted. ((:

time for some well deserved rest! i'm quite proud of myself actually. to be able to go through this tortorous week! hahahahas. so i treated myself to some time for slacking! hahahha. ponned cca and went home early. reached home and found my mom doing tang yuan! so helped her out in the kitchen! -grins-

you must be thinking why are we doing tang yuan only now when yuan xiao jie was yesterday! actually we made tang yuan yesterday as well, but the fillings- black sesame paste was too dry. so although the flour on the outside was cooked, the inside remained dry, powdery and uncooked! HAHAHHAHAS! so today, we added much more water and it finally turned out right! YAY! so stood in the kitchen for about an hour or so preparing everything and soon, everything was done and ready to be served.

OISHIII! (oh this makes me think about man. hahaha!) i've not eaten self- handmade tang yuan for a gazillion years! hahahha! yummy yummy yummy! heehee. the homemade soup really suited to my taste. or you can say that i'm only used to drinking the homemade soup my mom makes! hahaha. mom's cooking beats almost everything! hahahha! i'm gonna learn to cook from my mom after a's! hahaha!

oh yes. on the way home, i met cher! ahhhhhh. its been a long time since i last met her! i miss her so much! managed to talk to her a little while her annoying ogl kept rushing us. hope to catch up with you soon, my dear! made a detour in the direction of imm so i could talk a little to her! makes me reminicse those fun times we had during band days! oh my! we've all become bandits! time flies, really.

okays, back to my day, after making tang yuan, i settled down at my table and started to plan my time, again, for blocks. since i couldn't keep up with those that i had planned for the past week, its time my timetable gets revised. i hope i can do fairly well, so as to reaffirm myself of my capabilities for a's. i've set a pretty high goal, so hopefully i can fulfill it!

then i decided to do some math, but failed terribly. found myself woken up by my mom after my sister's friend called home. i didn't even realise i fell asleep! :S heard that my sister's online so wanted to try out the webcam. but when i turned on the computer, i smelt some electronics burning!! i was so afraid it'll just explode so i hid downstairs for a while. but after i came back to fix the webcam, i found out that my usb port has been burnt/spoilt. oh what a bad timing! so totally missed my sister. hmmmm.

went to bathe and now here i am!
oh right. i've decided to stay away from the computer on weekdays! too bad for emb then! hahahaaha! shall just check it like on a weekly basis!

hmmm. haven't been online for the past few days cuz i have been feeling very tired and lazy to on the computer. so much homework to finish, yet so little energy left from school to achieve that utmost important goal for an a level student: to complete all my homework with understanding. this year has become more and more stressful. and the teachers have become more serious and stringent, making me more stressed and strained. (parallel structures! hahaha!)

i have been reading newspapers more regularly these few days. it has been a great improvement that i have made so far to keep up with the news, but i always tend to be so jaded before i am done with the newspapers. in addition, i realised i'm in dire straits. my vocab is terribly limited, my grammar horribly lamentable and my evaluation skills is shockingly lacking. gg to my aq and my essay. how do i actually improve that? someone please enlighten and edify me! ((: (under great influence! desperately need to improve on my geepee.)

oh wells. the past few days has been a routine for me. wake up, school, home, a LITTLE work and SLEEEEEEP! though i have devoted quite a proportion of my time to my beauty sleep, i am STILL fatigue from i don't know what. this is a rather torturous year, i wish i can go through it with a smile on my face always. -grins-

i have still yet found the time to upload the pictures for v-day, but don't think i will do so soon. need to catch up on my studies, which i am far lagging behind. oh wells, finally heard my parents' point of view actually. i guess they sort of hinted to me quite heavily just now on their hopes and expectations for me, and i really wish i will and can live up to them. its february now, almost march. perhaps, there'd be enough time for me to catch up. (((:

anyway, that mini talk with my dad stemmed from my sister's call home. i still miss her A LOT. get teary when i talk about her even now. wonder why though. perhaps we are rather emotionally attached, just that we din know. somehow, i'm beginning to feel closer to my family now. like i spend more time talking to them? hahaha. previously, my sister would be the chatterbox. now that she's away, i think my mom is rather lonely so i've decided to talk to her more. but quite weird cuz i don't normally tell her stuff. hahahah. i'm more of an introvert, you see. keep things to myself.

hmm my wrist still feels kind of tired. just completed the career survey thingy. almost forgot about it, thankfully i remembered it just now, so still made it on time cuz it closes today! heehee. lots of clicking to do, testing on my wrist power eh? hahaa but obviously, its untrained and weak! haahahaha.

so i have just wasted another hour on the computer. just completing the survey and blogging! but its sort of break from studies! and stress from the upcoming block test in 24 DAYS!!! stress up everyone! :s

i've kind of lost confidence in bio, sad to say. gp too. chem and math are still quite okays. macroecons is quite interesting but hard to score in i guess. :S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S:S

okays. was just being random. had to write it down somewhere or it'll keep bugging me. hahaha! anyways, i've just read an email from a long long time ago and i found it very touching. it just struck a chord in me.

since i'm unable to paste the whole email here, i'll just state the crux of it.


"Learn to let go of your sorrow, while counting your blessings."


the analogy used was very apt in driving the point. hmmm should you be interested in it, just tell me! tag or whatever. ((: you may not share the same sentiment as me though, so don't think that its so so so great! hahahas!


anyway, i was sick on friday. woke up with a splitting headache and fever. ate medicine and zonked out immediately even before i msg to inform mdm tay and the class. woke up at 11 plus to reply them.

ate a second dose of medicine and packed the house a little. tried to read some newspaper but failed after a while cuz i felt too tired. went back to sleep from 2 plus to about 4 before finally decided to go and find a doctor.

walked around the whole neighbourhood to find that no doctors are available in the afternoon so went home to sleep again. until it was 7 plus. bathed and then went to see doctor lim. he's as smiley and patient as usual. gave me an mc too! hahahs yay! but thankfully my fever dropped to 37.3 degrees celcius, so don't need medicine. heehee.

after that, uncle gc came to fetch me to his house for a mini gathering. was rather bored cuz the adults din gamble. but we lou hei again! hahaha yay! a mini highlight. then after that, wei cheang, wei jie, my sister and i decided to play dai dee. played a few rounds before progressing to asshole daidee. we each had the share of being the king and queen i think but i won the last game before leaving.

then this afternoon, went to auntie vivienne's house to eat porridge for lunch! quite nice! heehee. slacked and watched some teevee before going to uncle st's house. reached there and ate sushi! hahahah! super nice! -grins- then wei cheang, xiu hue, my sister and i decided to play mahjong but found out that wei cheang's grandmother brought home the mahjong. so only had the table! -.- hahaha! so we ended up gambling! played blackjack. wei cheang was the zhuang and my sister and i both lost 3.50 to him! whoah, he won big bucks! hahaha!and everytime i cut the deck of cards, he'll get blackjack. so i never cut the deck anymore! hhahaha! the adults too had their share of fun by giving us 'wong lai' to eat, 'huat' stickers etc. hahah!

then came to my house for dinner. pizza! from pizza de french. something like that. i like the crust! super nice! ((: played a few rounds of mahjong with xiu hue, uncle fahjoon and jian min. the rest went gambling with aunty vivienne as the zhuang. haha! she played in place of uncle gc and he won 15.70 i think! loads of ten cents twenty cents coins! hahaha! all from the kids! heehee.

after which, at around 8 plus, my family, together with my ah ma went to visit lao gou. and on our way there, my elder sister called my phone from australia! ((: put her on loud speaker, though it wasn't very loud. haha! i miss her so much! but i'm glad she's settling down fine. hope she get her ***** back soon! ((:

reached home at around 10 plus 11, after watching a bit of chingay and jia you xi shi in her house. and here i am!

YAY! finally my com is up and alive again! wheeeee! the hp guy was quite irritating. kept dragging and dragging the date in fixing my com by not calling me back! then finally after my sister scolded him and the chinese new year break, that guy came and saved my com! hahahha! ((:




hmm actually, today's alr valentine's day but i shall blog about chinese new year first! ((:

okays so on chinese new year's eve, met up with joan to pass her the untouched scrapbook! had to pack the house and do stuff for my angel and mortal on the previous night, so din even go chinatown this year! so sad! hahahas. miss squeezing with the crowd and immersing myself in the festive mood! ((: then the both of us were so tired and got so sick of worrying about the unfinished book, we weren't in good moods. plus i had to leave early cuz i needed to rush back home to get ready to go back malaysia for reunion dinner at 4pm. (more like reunion tea right?) hahhahahs. so left at around 9 plus. thank goodness, joan's mom was there to send me to the bus stop, otherwise i wouldn't have been able to leave! thanks joan's mom! ((:


met huiyi at the bus stop and then boarded the bus 66 after like say 8 min of waiting. reached home at around 10 plus i think. packed my luggage and then slept for a while, until 11 plus 12. went to bathe and prepared to set off! was feeling super high cuz i get to wear new clothes! and its the festive season, so everyone should be happy! hahahahaha!


so reached my er gu's house and saw my niece! oh my goodness, she's super cheerful and friendly to strangers. kind of a bad thing huh? like friendly to everyone! :s she better be careful, incase she's too friendly! anyway, she's super cute! kept laughing and smiling. but she doesn't want to take a picture with me! ): hahahas.

next was my san gu's house. sat there for less than 10 min before heading to my da bo's house. cuz we set off late. had to reach my da bo's house by like 3 plus cuz we need to travel to the restaurant and my da bo's car is rather slow. so as usual, san gu presented us with the variety of cny goodies she baked and they all tasted so good, its hard to stop.

then reached my da bo's house. din even go in there to sit. just said hi to them and then got on the car again, heading down to the restaurant.

reached there rather early! stoned around for a while and i suddenly realised how distant we are. like nothing to talk to them about! a sudden surge of sadness filled me for a split second. cuz after that, the reunion dinner officially started!

lou hei. it was nice! the brown cracker. the cheapest thing in lou hei. the adults will fight for the expensive things in the louhei and i'll be picking out the crackers! hahaha! together with my siblings! laughs! had quite a sumptuous meal. the rice dumpling look-alike tasted quite nice! and the dessert too! something like mochi ice cream! heehee.

so after reunion lunch, my dad drove us down to my maternal grandmother's house! ((: reached there around 10 plus thereabouts i think. rest for a while and my cousins came over! then decided to go to my da jiu's house to countdown and play with FIRE CRACKERS! met my dear pretty cousins and counted down together! the young kids are young kids, ran all around the house. from the garden to the interior, to the second floor! hahaha.

so at around 12 plus, we headed back to my grandma's house to rest for the day!


CHINESE NEW YEAR DAY 1


woke up at around 7 plus. then doze off again. got chased out of bed at 9 plus cuz we had to make our way down to the temple to bai bai! ((: yay! i love going to that temple to bai bai! makes me feel so peaceful and hopeful for a good year ahead! since its a's this year, i went to qiu qian. and my qian isn't very good! its more for business than studies actually. aye. so now i'm still very worried if i'll do well for a's! )):

so after the temple trip, headed down to my dad's friend's house! we always visit them after going to the temple every year! sat there for quite some time. ate quite a lot of things and headed back to rahang. ahhh! and his son can drive alr! he's the same age as me! and i have to wait till 21! and by that time, i have to pay for my own driving fees cuz i'd have begun working! humphhh. hahaha!

reached rahang, and met up with all my relatives! almost everyone came except my san yi and si yi. my san yi went on a holiday cuz uncle mike cannot stand the heat during chinese new year! then my si yi stayed home cuz she had guests. bathed and ate dinner. afterwhich, we all dressed up again and visit my gu gong's house! but very few people there cuz not all the relatives returned to gu gong's house yet. so it was rather empty and boring. just stoned and talked about lame stuff with the cousins.

and as usual, we'd normally stay from chu yi to chu er or chu er to chu san. hahah! like some tradition. but its more of the relatives catching up with each other over the past year. but since this year, there are so few people around, we left at around 12 plus!

then started to play with the cam with my cousins and took random pictures! hahaha! my xiao yi's sons are very cute too! ahhh! he looks like harry potter with the round round specs! hehehehe. we all call him hogwarts! hahaha! but he's super aggressive cuz his brother watches wwf with him! like WOAH! hahahah

woke up at 9 plus. went to visit aunty xiu fen's house! the nice nice house which looks like a showhouse! hahaha! stayed there for quite some time and ate her nice cookies! wheeee! goody goody. ate my first ba gua there. tasted so delicious! then returned to rahang and played mahjong with my lovely cousins! my si yi finally came with her 3 handsome sons! alden is so handsome i wished i was his age! then can play with shuai ges! i feel so old around him! sighh!
hahaha kept grabbing him to take pictures with me! heehee. and he's so cute! kept smiling and playing with me! hahahas.
