today was supposed to be a long and draggy day. but somehow, everything sort of turned out okay. (: by the end of the day, i was having loads of fun! hahas.

econs drq lecture quiz turned out to be quite bad. i only wrote 2 sides! hahas. couldn't think of much to crap. hahas talking about econs, i scored the highest in class for econs timed assignment! that was a total surprise and shock to me. firstly, i din think i prepared for it that well and secondly, i thought my examples weren't specific enough. hahas. oh yes, and i have to give credit to jeremy's red pillow! was hugging it before i got back my results. brought me luck! or so he says. hahas. at least i did make some contributions to AMA! ((: quite proud of it. BUT, i think for this drq, i'd be the lowest or something...

ANYWAY, it was over first thing in the morning. then went for pe. did some 'workout' which is supposedly for aces day. and this made me miss sc tremendously. miss the times we choreographed our own class dance, especially ymca which my class came in first! -grins- miss the class bondedness and class spirit which my class is lacking alot right now. so just slacked the one half hour away.

math was just usual lecture just that i suddenly felt super sleepy, so i fell asleep during lecture. then next was bio. had class test for 10 min on mutation which i totally din study for. i thought it was supposed to be on stuff like translation, transcription... hahas.

chem make up tutorial was fast. finished alkenes tutorial and had early dismissal so we went for a quick break in the canteen. oh yeah, somehow these few days, everyone's broke. pay for class fund, teacher days' stuff, class photo, notes for promos etc. waaaa. by the end of the day, almost everyone had not a single dollar left. hahas.

OH. during the mini break, i drank green tea. which reminded me of the irritating indian/bangla guy who kept calling my phone last night. first time, he called and spoke to me in a foreign language so i just told him directly, im' sorry, i think you got the wrong number. then subsequently, he kept calling and speak in his language which i couldn't comprehend. so i just repeated myself, and said bye before hanging up. but who knew he was so persistent. kept calling so i decided not to pick it up. after 5 miss calls, i decided to just pick up the call and then tell him again. so i picked up the call and asked who he was looking for. he said he was looking for his parents and then went on to say oh even if he got the wrong number, i shouldn't hang up on him. BUT. in the first place, i din. because i made sure i sounded very clear that i was hanging up cuz i'm not in a habit of hanging up on people. totally pissed me off. hahas.

okay chill...

then gp was slack again. listened to another few of his stories again and weiliang was super funny! hahas. rather relaxed session. then for h4 bio, cuz miss yang is sick so she couldn't be present for the session so we just did the worksheet at our own pace. and really at our own pace. finished at around 5.15! took 2 hours to do it. then we decided to write teachers' day cards! hahahs.

had quite some fun there writing those cards. except that i haven't been writing these cards for a long time so din really know what to write. ended up pestering people to help me which was quite irritating of me. hahas. then did some lame things and laughed alot. like sherene's handwriting, clara's letter 's', and i wrote happy birthday instead of happy teachers' day. how foolish! haahhas. took pictures too but tragic hasn't uploaded them yet. yup so photos will come later! (:

oh and because we had so much fun, i forgot to watch the time. so ended up reaching home at 8 instead of 7. better be careful for the rest of the month. hahas.


and just to end off, i would like to wish the current j2 seniors all the best in their prelims and the up and coming a's! jia you!! ((:

another season of the campus superstar just ended like a few minutes ago. (:
but this time, i wasn't keen in the competition. hahas. so just mainly through the tv commercials and conversations, i only got to know the first name of one participant. and true enough, he proved himself as the most popular and outstanding, eventually emerging as the final winner.

needless to say his name because i am sure his name would be headlines for many of the magazines and newpapers. but still, congratulations to shawn! hahas this small little 13 year old kid! (: i'm sure you deserve the title!


anyway, try imagining this: when THE campus superstar is welcomed on stage, you see this small, cute little boy climbing up the stairs. would you feel amazed? amused? or puzzled? hahas. no offence to anyone, all right. and please don't sue me for anything that i write in here. hehx.

and this makes me sick.
cuz i'm reminded of the stressful conditions,
where we have to frantically write down our answers,
thinking and responding on the spot
using our application skills which i'm obviously short of and now building up on.
with everything so untidy and scrawly.
sometimes you just feel like giving up.

all the frustrations when you can't solve a problem.
the unconscious and countless sighs you let out during the 3 hour papers.
oh wells. this is really dreadful. rarrh.

AND stress level has been successfully pushed up several notches by pw.
with the wr not even half way done up now.
so many problems to solve.
need to keep cracking our heads for new ideas on linking the whole entire wr together.

what would you do if you see a rubbish bin on fire, half of it melted down due to the heat but no one else is injured? everyone around you just stare at it and continue walking away?


hahas. this happened to me while i was on my way home today. cuz i overslept on the bus so ended up in the interchange. as i was walking, i suddenly saw this thing on fire. i din feel the heat cuz i wasn't near it. having just woken up, i was still in a daze. and this big fiery thing just assailed my view, i was kind of shock initially. couldn't think properly so it took me sometime to realise it was a bin on fire. the next thing that occurred to me was that i should do something about it but i was at a loss of what to do. people around me just stared, pointed, talked and walked away when the red man turned green. and i just naturally went with the flow and left the bin burning there.


felt really retarded after that. i mean, i was holding on to my phone and i could just have called for help right? and after that, i saw a fire engine driving in the direction of the burning bin, so i assumed someone called and i actually felt sort of relieved! i really can't understand myself sometimes. hahas.


rarrrh. math test was bad. broke a test tube. saw someone i din wish to see.
oh what a day!

today's just another typical day. just that i had different feelings for almost every single period. hahas.

during pw, i was feeling quite pissed with someone. rolled my eyes so many times at what the person's saying. super pissifying. hahas. shan't elaborate. will only piss me off again. oh man.

before econs timed assignment, i felt hopeless. kind of. cuz i did last minute work again. so typical of me. (and for promos, i'm last minute again. have to CHIONG! ): sadly. cuz i keep forgetting how fast time flies.)

during econs timed assignment, i felt so lousy. the essay was so simplistic and rushed through. sure gonna score badly again. hahas. as expected.

gp was rather slack. felt quite tired then and dreaded econs after that.
econs was quite useful. rather efficient. though i'm not very very familiar with all the knowledge yet.

after school i felt super happy! hahas. went OUT OF SCHOOL to island creamery with clara and had double scoop. stayed there for quite a while feeling so blissful eating ice cream in peace and looking at photos. hahas. recognise some people in the pictures and laughed at other funny ones. (: though the trip there seemed quite long, but the trip back was fast. maybe cuz its not sunny? hahas.

then stayed at class bench to read times magazine. got a shock from carlos cuz we were so engrossed with times. times' so much better than newsweek. i wonder why i paid 20 plus bucks or was it 30 plus bucks for newsweek when i already ordered times at home. all just a waste of money. i don't even have time to read it. rarrrh.

then on the bus, it was rather jerky. then when i finally got a seat, i was determined not to fall asleep. but the next moment, i was at the bus terminal. !!!. i have great determination, i realise. sarcasm intended. hahas.

just finished with econs ilp. have to do math tutorial now. and the period of beauty sleep just ended. -.-" i wanted to sleep during those hours from now till promos but i guess i broke it. hahas.

oh man. this is such a boring post cuz im' feeling quite bored now. don't feel like working at all. integration is frustrating. can't seem to get the answers due to numerous careless mistakes. ayeee.

okay then. math, here i come!

class outing yesterday was superb, wonderful, fantastic, fun, and most importantly, SUCCESSFUL! haha. more than half the class turned up! not for the whole entire time but at least they came for part of it! hahahs. it seems that chelsea's house is more appealing to the class as compared to ecp. hehx.



national day celebrations in the morning was quite magnificent with the mini parade over at the high school side. but the concert was rather boring besides the fact that some of us were playing with the senior class, whom i only know a few by names. then after celebrations, waited for mr choe to come before departing school for lunch!



while waiting, we changed our plans of going to ecp to doing something else cuz there were too few of us to go ecp to guarantee fun there. bussed to ps for lunch first before deciding where to go next. had pasta and it was cte for lunch! choe treat everyone! (: it was yummy! long time since i ate that. after lunch, the guys wanted to go play lan and so the girls just followed to check lan out! on the way out, mr choe met his ex students and so he separated with us while we were heading for lan. jem left for dhoby ghaut station as we passed by it on the way. oh a futile trip there under the hot and scorching sun. not allowed in cuz we were wearing school based tee shirts. but well, bought 2 books there at 4 bucks! not that bad after all. (: then we all decided to crash chelsea's house to watch simpsons and slack around there! hahaha. met mr choe in the station and nick oh left us for practice in school.



chelsea's house is very cozy! stayed there from 3 plus till 7! watched simpsons and then played with balls that can change colour when you throw it up in the air. oh yes, chelsea's bedroom is very cozy too! her whole family sleeps together in a room, her parents and the 4 siblings! the ideal bedroom. hahas. jinglin was sick so she slept there for a while when we were slacking in the music room. haha then all the girls played lame games with the balls. afterwhich, chealsea suggested a 'game'. hahas we blindfolded carlos and made him catch us but obviously he failed cuz we kept sneaking pass him. hahaha! it was hilarious. (: after the crazy fun and laughter, i played the piano for a while but decided to stop playing cuz i was too lousy. creating noise instead of playing music. i can't sight read anymore, i've lost control of my stubby fingers and im such a poor player now. sighh. played monkey for a while when tragic, weiliang, yanting and wangshu decided to go home. then the rest of us except shoes settled down to play the pig game and i was second level pig. haha carlos tricked me into talking to him and that's how i became first level pig! smart! hahas. then i wasn't observant enough and so upgraded to second level pig. the game was never ending so we decided to play whack jack. a few of us finished first and we played bridge. so we bridged all the way until we left her house. not very used to playing floating bridge. couldn't think along the same line with the ever changing partner so hahas. no mo qi! after we left, supposed to go to glutton's bay for dinner but many of them complained it was too far so we just ate dinner in j8 and parted from there.

went to uncle ST's house yesterday to celebrate his birthday! haha another gathering again! had quite an enjoyable and relaxing time. it was a bbq party but i stayed beside the pit for like no more than 5 min before auntie judy shooed me away. haha! she was like busy busy busy, taking charge of everything! hahaha!

so i just ate and ate and ate, drink, drink, drink and watched more teevee. quite nice to have like an unplanned, spontaneous movie marathon last night. just camped infront of the teevee. first up was godzilla, but i only watched half though. haha missed the first part while eating. it was like a super old show and eugene watched it for like 4 times alr while it was my first time. -.- haha! then was i still remember what you did last summer. supposed to be a scary movie. my sister was like listening to the movie instead of watching it. quite scary but more of retarded. haha the way the people react. in the end, i laughed more than i screamed. haha. no nightmares. missed the last part while singing birthday song for uncle ST. (: it was pure addiction from emicakes! ahhh i love the cake! woots. haha.

after that, some people left and we continued watching back into the future. the plot was like quite boring and i began to feel sleepy so i slept for a while and then soon, we went home. haha i wanna watch more movies! like simpsons, flashpoint, rush hour 3, perfect stranger, 881 etcetc. i just realised i've been watching quite a few movies this year. pirates, transformers, harry potter, music and lyrics, casino royale etc with my classmates. i love the cinemas. haha!

okays i wanna hurry finish my homework then watch legally blonde 2 later. (:

the highlight of today: swim pe!

haha i'm suddenly so hyped up about swim pe. maybe its cuz of the influence of my classmates? but i think swim pe is definitely more fun than land pe. playing in water! woots. anyway, brought my tiny water gun today but we din play with it. had life saving lesson today with the coaches so only stayed in the water for about 20 min? yeah quite short but still its fun! gonna miss swim pe next week cuz its national day. but doesn't matter cuz there's always the public pools! hahaha! ((:

besides pe, the rest of the day was just boring. aye. i don't understand econs, as usual. gotta spend more time at home studying. then for math, can't visualise the 3d form thingy when you rotate the function about the axes. sigh. then for bio, it was quite terrible. had the presentation and was kinda screwwed. but at least it was over. think my group's gonna do quite badly for it but there's still the mutation test to hopefully help pull up the marks! i pray, i hope, i wish, i want ____________________________. its a change most of the people in my class would want. anyways, i realise i have trouble understanding lectures ever since block tests.

i feel so lethargic nowadays that once i reach home, i just hit the bed and sleep for a long time of 3 hours before waking up to do a little work then zonking out half hour after i wake up. sigh. only manage to barely finish the tutorials needed for the next day. and to my DISMAY, my msn FAILED on me. i wonder why. can't seemed to sign in. bahhx. ):

oh and talking about tests, promos is in 6 weeks time! in around 52 days! -GASPS!-PANIC!- since when is it so near? isn't it just after blocks? i'm totally sick of studying. haha. from sec 3 to prelims, to o's, to the lecture tests, to blocks. totally no more energy left to study for promos, blocks and lectures next year and the final destination As. ): i think those people who had mids in sec 4 are even worse so i shan't complain anymore. hahas.

okay um bad idea to panic cuz what i can do is to just start studying effectively now. hahas.

3 days of being seventeen passed and today's shoes' turn to turn seventeen! haha HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHOES! (: hope you had an enjoyable day!

anyway, today was quite unlucky. got released 10 min late for gp but cuz we were quite hungry, so we decided to eat though there was only like a half hour break. in the end, we, a.m.a. plus carlos were late. no reason why we were late so sent for c.s.. -.-" what a stupid way to get cs. just like 5 seconds late for lecture and we all kena. but its okay. its can sorta be like an ama outing. hahah!

then after school, went nj to meet yangyan. i mean outside nj. din go in cuz the security guard din allow us. -.- well, don't really know her but she seems very bubbly to me. first impression. plus all the good stuff the rest of the class have been telling me. looking forward to interacting with and knowing her better! we were also denied entry by the ny security guard. he told us we couldn't enter and the funniest thing was that right after we walked out of the gate, clara walked in. and the security guard just stared at her!! hahahaha! hmmm. weird guy. so we just went back to school. yeah.

waited and stoned for about an hour and then went for my first tkd training! haha quite fun. but then running bare footed is rather painful. haha! not very tiring. who knows i'll have muscle aches like tmr. haha!

okay let me write about the weekend! (:

oh saturday, woke up and continued pumping balloons and writing on them! then at about 4 plus, met up with xinya and yan for a sumptous lunch at sakae!! it was quite worth it, one red plate for one red plate. then cabbed down to sc and met the band! and mr jeow and the teachers. then at about 7 plus, we went in and sat down cuz i had to finish writing letters to my section. yupyup. and the concert started. oh my the kedah band was super good! the tpets and tbones! totally defeaning! haha its a compliment! oh and the kedah hornies still remember who i am! haha quite happy! then took photos and more photos with them and the section. then my dad came to pick me up at about 10.45 and reached home at 11 plus. studied a little of chem and then zonked out! (: what a nice bandit day!

sunday, my dad woke me up to go breakfast at about 9 plus. super tired so i refused. then my mom came and i wondered why she's so persistent suddenly. after switching on my phone and replying to all the birthday msges, (THANKS again to those who remembered!) i suddenly found out why. haha this particular msg:

her usual frantic self. i could 'hear' her saying oh shit. i think she knows about it. hahaha! what a big give away mayi! and your friendster msg to my sister! haha totally . i don't know what word to use. haha.

so i decided to play along with them. (: went out and have macd with my parents! long long time since i had a meal with only my parents. i felt soooo loved and kiddy. yay! haha. then my mom suggested shopping around and i knew it. haha i feel so smart.

then finally at around 12 plus, my dad called to fetch us home. and i got it spot on. haha mayi and yan came over to my house to give me a surprise! haha! THANKS SO MUCH! though i knew it but its the thought that counts. it would have been more fun if i din know anything. when yan jumped out, i was like eh, what a nice place to hide. its so stuffy inside! then when i went up to my room, mayi jumped out. sure, she's really small in size to fit insde my cupboard. haha! then played around with the balloons and i found them hiding stuff in the room, on my bed, in my bag! had to HUNT for my presents! haha. but had a great time together. the THREESOME united again! miss them so much.

they stayed till about 2 plus and then left. afterwhich, i studied for chem for a while and then went out for a birthday dinner with my family! (: it was literally eating, eating and eating the whole day. breakfast was still in the stomach and in goes my lunch. lunch wasn't digested and here comes dinner! haha grew fat on the first day of being seventeen. a nice way to start, definitely! good food all throughout the year! (:

reached home and then studied for chem test again. then finally 'gave up' and went to bed. aye. did quite badly. 13/20 for mcq only. made a stupid mistake while drawing the graph. -.- and there goes my b. ): but doesn't matter! haha my birthday was fun!
